I mean, besides the fact that the Saudi government would crush their souls.

Seems like they would have a lot of support from the locals. Could maybe fight a successful guerrilla war.

The Saudis pay protection money like other Arab states?

Just seems to me like they would make a play for it eventually. Would be a helluva recruiting ground for them.

Blowing up Mecca is lower on their list of priorities than wiping out Christians.

Well today the "moderate" fighters in Syria agreed to a ceasefire with ISIS, so as soon as they get Syria ironed out and a chunk of Iraq in a decade or so they will move on to more areas. Why would the King in his speech about Europe and America and the threat coming to our shores, he needs somebody to kill this snake sooner rather than later.

You know how I know they have secured a cease fire?

Reports that the Syrian moderate opposition has entered into a cease-fire with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in a Damascus suburb are not true, according to Syrian National Coalition officials.
"Not a single" U.S.-vetted rebel group has entered into a truce with ISIS, an unidentified senior Syrian National Coalition official told The Hill on Saturday.
Any such deal between moderate Syrian opposition forces and ISIS could derail congressional support for President Obama's plan to train and equip the Syrian forces -- a key tenet of the president's strategy against ISIS.

Not a smidgeon of ceasefire.

SA has always forbidden terrorist groups from locating there. But they have been paying protection money to the Wahhabis (sp) for a long time. ISIS wants the house of Saud to be over turned. So did OBL. They view the royal govt as an obstacle to the Caliphate.

"FSA commanders declared that they will continue that fight until ISIS is completely eradicated in Damascus suburbs. No truce or cease fire with ISIS," added Syrian National Coalition spokesman Monzer Abkik.

The Free Syrian Army will not take part in U.S. plans for destroying the self-proclaimed Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), the group's founder said. Colonel Riad al-Asaad said opposition forces would want assurances about the overthrow of President Bashar al-Assad before joining a coalition against ISIS. He said: "If they want to see the Free Syrian Army on their side, they should give assurances on toppling the Assad regime and on a plan including revolutionary principles." – LINK

I can't tell what the heck is going on over there. I suspect Obama's new push is as much about taking out Assad as it is ISIS. And then knows WTF happens when Assad goes?

As far as ISIS taking on Saudi Arabia, they'd be competing with AQAP in doing so.

They aren't attacking anyone. They found some weak spots in Syria and Iraq and are waiting for a large foreign force to go there and respond. They were probably the ones to unleash the chemical weapons in Syria so that would likely be their move here.

They will taunt the UK and US, as well as a few other countries until someone takes the bait.

Why not just get out of there? I would tell each of the Arab nations to clean up this mess or we would start nuking each of their capital cities until they choose to do so.

Why should we care that Arabs won't clean up their neighborhood? We don't live there.

If not for American interference and obstructionism, the Arabs would have solved the Israeli-Palestinian issue a long time ago, trust me.

They aren't just taunting the U.S. and the U.K. Look what they're doing to the Lebanese.

quote:

The Islamic State group has claimed to have beheaded a Lebanese soldier it captured in a raid on the Lebanese border town of Arsal last month, the second such murder in just over a week.

Images posted by the group's supporters on social media on Saturday appeared to show Abbas Medlej killed by masked men.

If confirmed, Medlej would be the the second of 19 soldiers missing since the attack to have been executed.

Fighters from the IS group had previously killed Ali al-Sayyed on August 30.

A caption posted with the images identified Medlej as a Shia. Sayyed, who was buried on Wednesday, was a Sunni.

Very interested to hear how they would have done that.
