Why doesn't Trump squash the antifa riots?

These aren't peaceful protests. Attacking people and destroying property is illegal.
Do what Reagan did to the Berkley protestors as governor or what JFK did at Ole Miss with James Meredith.
Federalize the national guard in states where these riots occur and send them in. Crack some skulls and make arrests. Shoot them if they pose a real threat to the safety of officers and individuals.
That will put a stop to this shite. They are being emboldened by lack of action by authorities

I agree there needs to be some force applied to protect and help innocent people.
It is always too late after the fact. If there is a threat that if local authorities are not going to intervene then federal force would it might deter some from allowing violence to innocence occur. Anifta and the KKK are not an innocent.

Trump can't squash the riots because he won't listen to any of his advisors or be reigned in. He's off the rails. Until some of his handlers can reel him away from the edge, he's on a crash course.

Unfortunately, they've been given moral high ground thanks to the media and idiot congressmen. He can't just send in the troops and start cracking heads because the headlines would scream Trump declares war on counter protestors. Give it time. A few weeks ago I'd bet only a small minority of the population even knew who ANTIFA was, but that's not the case any more. People are figuring it out. I suspect a little bit more public education about who they are is needed first, then the hammer will drop on them.

Instead of out right stopping them it would be better for him to provide federal protection by keeping ANTIFA separate from those they want to start the crap with. Seems local governments wish to just let all hell break out and screw the consequences.

It is better to just let them keep going. He already has a congress on the verge of sedition. They keep going at this rate he will be emperor
