Fox News is not the MSM. The MSM is every TV broadcast network and every newspaper. Try to keep up.

Are you trying to provoke me, RK? I've had enough problems with Lucy and the Dogs disturbing my watching of the history channel's account of the Battle of Marathon. Thank God that the Greeks actually wrote things down.

A friend recently loaned me that Chomsky book. I think I'll give it a read.

Thoughts on the book?

It is dry and boring, but articulate. Academic. He leverages Bernays a lot, who is considered the father of public relations. A lot of examples of how media frames arguments for public discourse, limiting latitude within the discussion.

It lays out the propaganda model, the filters of editorial bias that exist in privately controlled media. It's all straightforward. Anyone with a brain realizes these things when they are pointed out. Monetary advancement is on everyone's agenda.

To those lamenting reporters, you have to be afforded the platform to report, without unreasonable filter. Most do not in a system of private media.
