Why did Jared favor Saudi Arabia over US?

Do we have any idea what the Saudi had to give up? No it's just one hit job after another. I'll give you another example.
Notice how angry the media was when Trump called out NATO allies for stuffing us on the bill. Why didn't anyone in the media ask these countries why they weren't paying their bills? I never saw one report on why the allies weren't paying up.
And yea, Trump could use some table manners but the point still stands and what's right is right.
