Go outside. Go in public. 99% of the interactions you and I and everyone else have are completely normal interactions. And guess what? Probably half of those people are on the "other side". You all focus too much on the vocal minority. It's not reality. It's not everyday life.
We aren't talking about normal interactions between everyday citizens here. We are talking about the Democrat party sabotaging an incoming presidential administration. We're talking about groups of Democrats blocking roads, rioting, killing police officers, and making threats against elected officials, and nobody on the left is blinking an eye. No big deal.
They aren't doing this for the fun of it. They want to destroy their opposition, not by having better ideas and philosophies, but by destroying the foundations of American society.
Groups like antifa and democrats on college campuses across this country are openly working to crush the free speech rights of people they disagree with.
The Democrat party and it's supporters have openly been working to crush the right to keep and bear arms.
The Democrat party has successfully crushed the right to liberty with Obamacare. There is no liberty in the government requiring citizens to buy a particular product, and then using that force of government to make citizens pay for that product for other people.
The common ground of belief in the American way and the Constitution is gone between the two factions. For the most part, today's Democrats view the Constitution as an obstacle to be squashed in furtherance of their agenda, and the destruction of those who oppose them.

Why do y'all want a war so badly?
Why do so many of you want to paint myself and others with that brush? I absolutely do not want war of any kind, much less war between Americans. Pointing out that it is becoming obvious that armed conflict may be inevitable is not advocating, or wishing for it in any way. Just the opposite, in fact.
What does it do for you, putting people saying things like this in a corner like they actually want to kill their fellow Americans? Does it further your agenda to ostracize the people saying that barring some significant change, they see violence in our future?

because of the massive hyperbole that you are using in this thread
you are looking at only the examples that agree with your assertion that we are headed to war

I asked someone earlier, feel free to answer yourself. Can you cite any substantive example of Democrats displaying a genuine willingness to understand and work with the current administration to solve problems that Americans are facing today? I'm not a zealot, hell I'm not even a republican. If you have a legitimate example, I'll say so. Shoot.

likely.
But it won't be an armed battle, it will be an economic battle. Texas is really the only powerhouse to contend with from the red states.

Ask Illinois how that Blue State model is going.

How willing were Republicans to work with Obama the previous 8 years?

Well they approved all his Court picks (SCOTUS and below) for one.

ask kansas how the red state model is going.
Both states have their winners and losers
if you list states by GDP, the only reliable red state in the top 10 is texas. The next reliable red state on the list is GA at 11.

Kansas isn't about to go bankrupt.
Granted it's not the entire state's fault...just one certain portion of it.

I'm hopeful that the split will be non violent.
However I get the feeling that it probably will be. The seeds of the next civil war are clearly being sown.
No idea if we are talking 20 years or 50 years but it's coming.

Assaulting the First Amendment isn't playing the political game. The Obama IRS silenced an entire group of people who they disagree with, using the force of government. No consequences.
Assaulting the Second Amendment isn't playing the political game. The Obama DOJ walked weapons to a foreign country and drug cartels through the ATF to foment violence on the border and project to Americans that our very own right to keep and bear arms only results in violence and must be curtailed. No consequences.
Assaulting the Fourth Amendment isn't playing the political game. The Obama DOJ allowed a visa denied Russian agent into the US to lay a trap for the Trump campaign so they could be monitored by US agencies to gain campaign fodder for Hillary Clinton to win the presidency. No consequences... yet.
You continue to ignore the assaults on liberty and free speech in the media and on college campuses, which is fine. They are mostly private citizens, but at the administrative level, most of these colleges take taxpayer dollars, yet work to silence opposing views. No Consequences.
You say I only look at examples that support my view, but you have yet to provide a single example of Democrats showing any willingness whatsoever to cooperate, much less reconcile in the interests of serving the American people.
