Who here would accept a carve-out for rape, health, or “quality of life”?

The pro-abortion crowd always throws these exceptions out there as justification for abortion.

If a much stricter ban on the practice required carve outs for rape (contingent on charges being filed), health of mother or baby (contingent on signatures of one or more doctors), or some issue of “quality of BABY’S life” (chronic, debilitating, fatal disease), would you accept those as “justifications” in order to get the reduction overall?

These exemptions are less than 3% of abortions.

97% of abortions are for convenience

your bloodlust is pathetic

no exceptions in order to murder babies is ever ok

tell us one exception, that they wont lie about, and falsely claim, just to justify them killing a baby for convenience?

Sure, all of those or justifiable reasons to kill a child.

We shouldn’t sentence babies to death for the actions of their father.

You can find any number of babies who were predicted to have defects which did not materialize. We shouldn’t euthanize babies before they’re born anymore than after they’re born because we think they won’t appreciate the life they have, even if it may be short.

Pregnancies that threaten the life of the mother aren’t an elective abortion. If the baby will die without the mother, then there’s no way for the baby to continue to develop. If the baby has a chance to live apart from the mother, then the baby can be delivered to save the mother and care can be given to the baby and it’ll survive or it won’t. Either way, there’s no reason to murder the baby without giving it a chance to survive.

Life of the mother is about the only exception I would support.

Millions of women are raped by people the women cannot identify, how dare you.

i could back that if it was the doctors decision, and made while the woman was on the table where a doctor had to risk his medical license for life if he couldnt medically back up the mother would die if he didnt abort the child, and that the child could not be saved to live on its own after it was removed.

Either it is a human life or it isn't. You can't morally justify rape and incest exemptions if it is a human life.

If it isn't a human life (which it is) then ok abortion is acceptable. But since it IS scientifically a human life it isn't OK to kill a kid for something someone else did that was illegal (rape).

The crime has already been committed (rape incest). You can not undo the crime. Exemptions are the highest form of hypocrisy.

In that situation, you remove the baby. If it can't survive, it can't. That's not abortion, it's a life-saving procedure.

We think the false tape accusations are bad now…. Wait till rape is one of the only reasons someone has to continue murdering a baby. Every body getting accused

They did that and look at how far they took it. Our govt and politicians bowed down to the left time and time again. It has to be tighter controls or we will be back here again.

I would agree to a rape/incest carve-out but only if the woman assists police and agrees to testify against the accused.

I did. No longer.

1. Everything should be done to keep the life of both mother and baby.
2. Incest is pretty damn rare.
3. We already have an issue with women claiming rape after consensual sex. This will only exacerbate it
