Well, since you're in Phoenix, I'm sure it's not hard to just go outside, scream out your approval of liberalism, and wait for "them" to come up and argue with you.

No fingertips needed.... unless things get physical.

We need a few more good liberal posters, Rex and Tuba suck.

The only liberal posts I Upvote are the socially liberal and that's it.

I gave you an up vote on that one. I know this may sound crazy to some people, but I consider myself a liberal on social issues but conservative on fiscal issues. So I suppose i'm a liberal conservative. LOL!

I fairly consistently get labeled a liberal poster on here now, which shows just his far off the right wing cliff this board has gone over the years.

You're either a classical liberal or libertarian. Whichever one you prefer.

Examples?

You don't post enough for the casual observer to notice you IMO.

My lack of posting and all the new faces around here are why it happens. So I usually just play the part to get a rise out of people now days.

By all means carry on. I could never do this because I can't stay in character.

But still, this board has come a long way from the neocon republican soundboard it used to be but it still rears its ugly head from time to time, most recently with the crisis going on with Israel and Palestine.

Something I have noticed is that every time football season rolls around, the poliboard gets infiltrated by some hard right neocons. I think it is because a lot of people don't post on TD until Late July/Early August, when fall practice starts. They find their way to this board, and, for some reason, they are far more hawkish than the libertarian posters that are regulars on here.

This was at its worst during the election and it's going to be just that in November for the midterms.

Hopefully this board has enough libertarian and liberal posters and is is strong enough to overcome the horrible post quality these randoms will surely bring.

Sounds reasonable to me.

Social liberalism is opposed by many on moral grounds, but, too strongly, I think.

We the People have more important things to worry about, for sure. Social liberalism isn't going to wreck our Republic. It's the more concrete liberal policies that affect our private economy and activities that are wrecking us. Gay marriage isn't going to destroy us.

This board suffers far more, as does this country, for a lack of good Republican participants.

Rex, it has been my observation that you believe there is no such thing as a good Republican. You are pretty clear about that. I have yet to see you be conciliatory or open to any degree of disagreement in any thread. Any.

If I am wrong, I will gladly retract my comment.

And I also think the "Rex dr;downvote" is played out.

You are right, I haven't noticed his liberalism.

I think you can up and down vote more than once.

edited to add I just tried out my theory and you can only vote once.

I guess that would make you a libertarian.

That was awful. There were so many new posters, it was hard to figure out which ones were opportunistic alters and which were just crazy.

I lean left on most issues, but I never upvote or downvote. If I really like or dislike a post, I'll just say it.

I downvote anything about gays, multicuturism or muslims. Safe to say those people who promote that need a different place to write their liberal crap
