Dude, I've never been a member of a political party, and in every election since 1984 I've voted 3rd party. That's actually in my post history (I think I've posted a list of all of my votes since 1984 - which includes Lyndon Larouche for the lulz) if you had actually bothered.

Obama promised change and gave America more of the same. He was a bitter partisan who has a long list of failed policy initiatives and created a culture of division with his identity politics.

Meanwhile, Europe saw a westward sweeping rejection of globalism, multiculturalism, and socialism that culminated in Brexit. It showed its face here in the form of Berni Sanders and Donald Trump.

What do liberals do? Force Hillary Clinton down our throats -- the personification of what the populous is rejecting all over the civilized world.

Thank for your resume. I've bookmarked it for later analysis as I am considering writing a novel on the great political centrists of Western culture.

Apparently you don't remember Vietnam - or the 250 Marines killed in Beirut in 1983.

I'll try again:

How Clinton Donor Got on Sensitive Intelligence Board

Newly released State Department emails help reveal how a major Clinton Foundation donor was placed on a sensitive government intelligence advisory board even though he had no obvious experience in the field, a decision that appeared to baffle the department’s professional staff.

The emails further reveal how, after inquiries from ABC News, the Clinton staff sought to “protect the name” of the Secretary, “stall” the ABC News reporter and ultimately accept the resignation of the donor just two days later.

A prolific fundraiser for Democratic candidates and contributor to the Clinton Foundation, who later traveled with Bill Clinton on a trip to Africa, Rajiv K. Fernando’s only known qualification for a seat on the International Security Advisory Board (ISAB) was his technological know-how. The Chicago securities trader, who specialized in electronic investing, sat alongside an august collection of nuclear scientists, former cabinet secretaries and members of Congress to advise Hillary Clinton on the use of tactical nuclear weapons and on other crucial arms control issues.

Is ABC news "fake news"?

Which politician are you talking about? I voted for a business minded man. Maybe with the off chance that he actually does something to help businesses out. And if he doesn't, then he'll be on the chopping block in 4 years.

Agreed. If he does not keep his promises like revisiting some of these bad trade agreements, stopping the flow of dangerous, undocumented, unvetted immigrants from SW Asia (directly and via Europe and Southern border), Central and South America - with no end in sight, go back to a business friendly environment - in other words if he governs as HRC or Bernie would? I'll be all over him with criticism.

This reminds me - Ronald Reagan was an absolute badass. The likes of which we will probably never see again.

The tech guy on the nuclear board was a sensational news story, but industry specific qualifications on an advisory board are way overrated. The charter called for diverse backgrounds and I think an internet security expert (which he was) would be helpful at times on a nuclear committee concerned about security.

So it didn't have anything to do with being a multimillion dollar donor?

Yeah, so is:

All members shall hold a Top Secret security clearance

quote:

internet security expert (which he was)

I don't see much evidence of that. Are you referring to his own quote about himself?
Are you confusing "securities" (stocks, etc.) with "security"?

quote:

arms control, disarmament, nonproliferation, and international security and related aspects of public diplomacy.

Yeah I can see how a guy who founded a stock trading start-up could be a fit.

Are you seriously this stupid?
