Which religious group has more power: Evangelicals or Progressives

Seems to me progressives have been dictating the direction of the US government and society in general for decades now.
While the church of progressivism likes to accuse Christians of forcing their views on others, progressives are the ones actually forcing their ideals on non-believers through the power of the government.

Progressives/Statists have essentially won the battle for America (and all countries where Evangelicalism once influenced the culture). However, Evangelicals have truth on their side, and that extends beyond borders.

The good news is that media (MSM & Hollywood) are fragmenting and losing influence as technology continues its destruction of their monopoly.
Education is as Marxist and contaminating as it ever has been. Non-Stem based fields of social science and humanities are indoctrination factories. However, there's good news on this front as well as people are beginning to see the racket that is higher education. Once the student loan bubble bursts, the influence of higher education will wane. I have high hopes that Devos will eviscerate the stranglehold of teachers unions at the secondary level as well.
