what do you mean by completely changing their behavior?
ignoring/covering for Obama and attacking Trump

Ok, I'll grant you that. The Saudi Arabia angle from the MSM is weak (Trump's hotels or something). We can't restrict saudis for obvious reasons related to oil trading.
But the conservative outlets are dishonestly suggesting that Trump's moves are the same as Obama's. False.

So wait just a minute! The media told me trump left out Saudi Arabia and others because he had business ties there. Also, they told me those were the countries where all the danger came from in the past.
I don't recall this topic discussed when Obama chose same countries. Did he have business ties too? Why did he leave out the bad ones?
Has to be some article on this somewhere......wtf, this is outrageous to have our MSM treat Presidents differently.

yeah Saudi Arabia is untouchable
and i only made this thread about the list and not the actual policy itself, b/c that was a big deal yesterday

Saudi Arabia is a hot potato. Obama's admin didn't include them, either
Obama's admin didn't include anything. Yes he signed it in to law, but the bill originated in the House and was sponsored by a Republic from Michigan. So, it would be more accurate to say that "The House Bill didn't include them either". Also, there is a distinction as this Executive Order was done unilaterally (obviously) instead of going through the process and it also includes legal permanent residents i.e green card holders

"But OBAMA did it"
You all are the thing you mocked only two months ago.

So trump based his ban on the intelligence from the Obama administration???

serious question
you believe that the major media is controlled by the elite, correct?
why are they completely changing their behavior with Trump, when he's carrying on the agenda of the previous admin?
1). The establishment knows we're pissed and want change. To build up Trump as our savior it needed the media to feebly attack him to make him look anti-establishment and gain the trust of the easily herded.
(However, it overplayed its hand - IMO - by giving him unlimited access to react and affording his brand billions in free advertisement. That could not have been done by accident).
2. To perpetuate the false left/right paradigm. The establishment can't win unless we continue to play the game.
ETA: These are variations of ploys that have worked for centuries. There's nothing new going on here.

Is this thread about Obama and his cabinet knowing who to target but not taking it far enough?

We already had a big thread on this yesterday
True but the leftist will keep disseminating propaganda on this topic so we need to keep reminding people of the truth.

Rudy G has already spilled the beans
The very nature of Dem complaints regarding select national targets of the temporary ban contradict it.
In other words:
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but Saudi Arabia is unaffected.
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but Egypt is unaffected.
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but Morocco is unaffected.
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but Egypt is unaffected.
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but Turkey is unaffected.
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but Pakistan is unaffected.
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but Kuwait is unaffected.
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but the UAE is unaffected.
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but Bangladesh is unaffected.
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but Indonesia is unaffected.
It's a supposed Muslim ban, but a majority of the Muslin world is unaffected.
In summary, it is not a Muslim ban.
It is a ban affecting countries with whom we have either a poor ongoing relationship, or no diplomatic relations at all.

The left won't like that at all.
