Probably be more like 8%, if reported truthfully. Should be entertaining.

It'll be tied to the orange fella, somehow

Who will they try to blame? Trump.
But right now, about 80% of the country is blaming potato per polling. And I bet that remaining 20% knows it was him but can't admit it.

Damn! Didn’t realize we were already at 5% over last July.

It will be totally unexpected.

Unexpected, yet better than expected.

Somehow this will be racist.
Like the virus that knows to only attack you when you aren’t at your table, the inflation will only affect people of color. It’s science

Are you kidding me?
Since Biden is the man now, this will be celebrated by the media.
Something along the lines of wages are increasing, I imagine.
The Twitter bots will just claim this is the price you pay for an improving economy.

You guys saw where the producer price index rose 7.8% on an annual basis and June and July were 1% month over month each. So its increasing at an increasing rate.
Usually down the timeline this translates to inflation well over the 7.8% so you could easily see double digit inflation before the end of the year........and we still have not flooded the market with 1.2 trillion or the pending 3.5 trillion.
We headed to Zimbabwe and Venezuela territory.
