Advice for women’s hiking boots for Alaska trip?

My daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law will be going to Alaska at end of June for their honeymoon. My daughter needs to get some waterproof/water resistant hiking shoes or short boots. There won’t be any 10-mile hikes, but there will be multiple short hikes. Any recs for such?...

Yeah, that’s just great timing as I am looking to sell my business in the next couple of years and retire. My retirement planning assumes 15-20% capital gains tax to be owed on the sell, not 44.6%! I might not be retiring at 53 years old after all.

Not sure yet. Everything is in flux. One daughter getting married in June. Another daughter having to do her masters program during the summer. And my son is doing clinical rotations during summer. Doesn’t look like there will be a “family” vacation. Probably multiple long weekend beach trips to try...

Use geometry every day for different calculations to be able to determine sizing needed for various packaging items for containers in food, beverage, vitamin and many other industries....

That’s awesome. I can rarely find flights for the 5 of us from ATL or Nashville for less than $800. It’s usually $1,000 or more....

Son survived two open heart surgeries at age 17 for a congenital heart defect that almost caused his death. He is now beginning his 3rd year of medical school and intends to be a pediatric/congenital heart surgeon.

Agree. Saw them open for Def Leppard back in the day and they were awesome. Queensryche was the 2nd opener of that show and they were amazing as well. Honestly, I enjoyed both ...

Disagree with you. Roxx Gang was most definitely a band that got a little notoriety back in the day, yet they were pretty terrible. They had “the look” though....
