What? Autism is just as easy, if not easier, make a diagnosis error.

I'm a big fan of the concept. The problems with it in this country are many:

1) Vaccines are not subjected to safety tests vs a placebo. They are only safety tested vs old vaccines that were never safety tested. If it isn't worse they consider it OK w/out ever figuring out what issues existing vaccines might be causing.

2) Vaccine manufacturer's cannot be taken to court if they make a bad product. They are protected in this country. So if you get a bad vaccine and get sick or die, nobody can sue or go after the vaccine maker.

3) Multiple vaccines at once.....There are literally zero tests done to insure the safety of taking more than one vaccine at a time. People are just guinea pigs. Our doctor makes sure our kids get no more than 1 vaccine within any 4 week period. This provides enough time for the immune system to recover and rebalance after each vaccine before getting the next.

4) Vaccines are recommended for people with zero testing. Take pregnant women for example. Doctors love to say get all these vaccines but there are zero safety studies on the effects of the vaccine on a fetus or a pregnant woman in general.

5) The flu shot is completely pointless. Influenza is an RNA replicator and a VERY sloppy one at that. Every time influenza reproduces it mutates. It is literally impossible to create a vaccine for influenza.

We need to start taking safety more seriously in this country. Other countries have done studies that have raised concerns but we just keep right on trucking along with no protection for the public.

The autism-spectrum quotient (AQ) is a questionnaire published in 2001 by Simon Baron-Cohen and his colleagues at the Autism Research Centre in Cambridge, UK. Consisting of fifty questions, it aims to investigate whether adults of average intelligence have symptoms of autism or one of the other autism spectrum conditions.[1] More recently, versions of the AQ for children[2] and adolescents[3] have also been published.

The test was popularised by Wired in December 2001 when published alongside their article, "The Geek Syndrome".[4] It is commonly used for self diagnosis of Asperger syndrome and high-functioning autism, although it is not intended to be a diagnostic test.[5] The PhenX Toolkit uses age-specific versions AQ as its adult and adolescent screening protocols for Symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorders.[6][7]

A further research paper indicated that the questionnaire could be used for screening in clinical practice, with scores less than 26 indicating that a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome can effectively be ruled out.[1]

It is also often used to assess milder variants of autistic-like traits in typically developing individuals to investigate the continuum hypothesis of autism spectrum condition.[11][12][13]

I decided to stay out of this thread. Has all the earmarks of one that will spiral out of control.

It would appear as if it is today. When I posted I was going by my memory from classes from many, many years ago. I failed to recognize that things have changed greatly since I was in school, which was longer than I like to admit.

My view is anyone not getting their children vaccinated should be heavily fined until they do so. And their children should not be allowed in public school.

Vaccinations are a good thing. Uneducated, anti-science morons that refuse to get themselves or their children vaccinated without a valid medical reason should be rounded up and sent to live on remote islands to fend for themselves.

Vaccinations have saved millions of lives. They've fully eliminated many diseases from the Earth.

They are the single greatest medical discovery ever made.

You and Trump are in no way qualified to determine if Vaccines should be spread out more. There is zero scientific evidence that spreading them out is safer.

The Autism question only exists in the mind of the uninformed.

I agree, Measles and Mumps cases are already on the rise with dumbass soccer moms not vaccinating their kids because they watched Dr. Oz. I sure don't want polio coming back.

Ther me is absolutely no correlation between vaccinations and autism. To keep pushing that narrative is pure ignorance

Incorrect. There is a larger understanding of Autism due to extensive research into it. So we have been able to identify Autism more accurately, plus there is a huge spectrum.

But don't get your child vaccinated and risk him or her getting a disease that will kill them.

agree with Trump. We need to give them the same amount, just in smaller spread out dosages.

You go ahead and believe the real estate developer when it comes to medical science.

I'll put my trust in doctors with years of training and experience on the subject.
