What's worse: Letting Russia take Crimea or becoming friends with Putin?

You can't have both if you voted for Trump. You would have to say it was okay for Russia to take Crimea if you're okay with him being friends with Russia.
Obama was not strong enough versus Russia and now I fear Trump will be even weaker against Russia.
This board was all "frick RUSSIA!" before the election, now it's okay to be friends with them?
'Merica!

You obviously don't reside in the panhandle. Miami-Dade is more like it.

Please go back to the fricking rant

Where did Trump touch you?

We don't have to be best friends with Russia, in fact we never should consider it but that doesn't mean we can't mutually work together in some aspects.

I'm sorry that thought-provoking questions are so tough for you to answer. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Crimea isn't a country.
Anyone should care about a dictator taking over entire regions.

Only one country can Wipe us off the face of the earth, i personally would enjoy being friends with that country

You feel the need to troll every board with terrible threads, why?
Posted on 2/13/17 at 7:53 pm to ForeverGator
This is dumb. There's a lot of people I wouldn't want to be friends with, that doesn't mean I have to start a fight with them.

We will let you know when we hear a thought provoking question

The people of Crimea most likely support the "takeover"
They prefer Moscow to Kiev. You want to tell them they are wrong?

Not barring an absolute failure of our missile defense system. Not to mention that two of our closest allies, NATO members France and the United Kingdom, are also nuclear countries.
We don't need to be friends with anyone even remotely similar to Vladimir Putin. Period.

frick Russia, politically speaking.

Well, that brings about the Ukraine situation. They are a sovereign nation and do not want to be a part of Russia but Russia wants to invade.

Let Europe deal with it. Maybe we can sell billions in arms to them.
We've paid their tab long enough
