What's up with renewed interest in the BATF/FBI assault in Waco?

Waco was definitely a low point for Federal law enforcement - but it was 30 years ago and a lot of people don't even know about it. But not Netflix has "Waco: Apocalypse" and Showtime is replaying "Waco" and is about to release "Waco: the aftermath" and the feds definitely come across as the bad guys.

Is this just a coincidence given what's going on in this county?

They are trying to trigger minds. They need another one.

I heard it’s the Waco anniversary and Trump will be holding a rally there.

I was on the floor of the NAB convention and they put live video of the fire on hundreds of monitors.

The Clinton clutch was looking for a big gun control show trial, but what he got was his government committing mass murder. The bottom line is that they didn't need a no-knock assault to check the cult's guns. They could have just walked up there with the local sheriff and a search warrant, but I guess they were afraid that the guns would be flushed down the toilet.

I think a lot of their younger audience just interested in things that happened 20-30 years ago. We’re just getting older.

There has been a lot on Woodstock, OJ, Jeffrey Dahmer, etc lately as well. Wako was a historical event that has been kinda buried for awhile.

Waco happened in 1993, so it's the 30th anniversary next month. I assume that's why it's being brought up.

This should never be forgotten. And any politicians and law enforcement that was complicit in this conspiracy and attack against US citizens needs to face the gallows. What they did was beyond sick and twisted. Same goes for Ruby Ridge.

While I think Koresh was a manipulative con man the USA f’ed this up big time. They were way too aggressive and ended up killing innocent children.

Any chance to remind/enlighten the public of the evils and atrocities of the ATF, FBI, and the rest of the alphabet agencies is always a good thing.

Exactly. And then later this year, less important I know, we will possibly also get a 30th anniversary interview with John Bobbitt, complete with updates on his penis.

"Come across?" Those frickers could have executed the warrants AT ANY frickING TIME those 3 dudes (I think it was?) were off the compound.

Instead, they intentionally triggered a confrontation, then murdered almost 100 people, mostly women and children, for no real reason.

If I were to watch some kind of Waco documentary, what would be the best one without any kind of bias, or is that too much to ask?!

The oldie but goodie Waco: Rules of Engagement. It's significant because it practically was the first documentary that gained widespread acceptance. Walmart even carried it. Prior to Waco: Rules of Engagement, people treated the incident much like we did with Covid. Lot of parallels indeed. Just like Covid, the press covered for the government and if you didn't believe that Koresh was the greatest evil in America, you're an anti government white supremacist religious zealot. Just look at the recent Vanity Fair article on Neflix Waco documentary. They practically called the Covidians white supremacists and government agents heroes.

Of course some people, just like during Covid, questioned what happened and were called conspiracy theorist only to prove that it wasn't a conspiracy theory. There was something a bit more to it.

The Neflix Waco isn't bad but does pull a lot of punches. If anyone thinks the Netflix doc didn't try to paint the Feds in a good light or reduced bad light, the HRT sniper they featured was one of the guys who posed standing over the rubble. They showed that pic but it was cutoff so it didn't include him standing over it, just top half.

If the Netflix documentary upsets anyone, wait till they see the rest that was left out including the trial fiasco of missing evidence and outright lying of the agents.

There is probably a couple of generations out there that have no idea about it and should learn why trusting government is a bad idea.
