What's the expected punishment for these rioters?

Seems that people don't expect to receive serious punishments for rioting in these supposed protests.
If I just ran up to a random cop one day and threw a brick at him, what would my likely sentence be?
What kind of jail time do these people end up getting? Do they go easy on them because of the political nature of the event?

What's not conservative about that? I think any violent rioter should be given the maximum sentence allowed by law.

Based on just the large number of them I always assume nothing happens. They go home and take their coward masks off and think they've done something. I wish there was enough force to throw them all in jail.

The problem is, Trump can't force the local jurisdictions to punish these arse clowns, they'll probably let them off with a misdemeanor summons, which will later be dropped, if they actually get arrested that is.

I heard that 90 disrupters have been charged with rioting and that's a much more serious charge than disturbing the peace.
Obviously, Trump meant it when he said he was going to stop these violent disruptions one and for all.
