Hannity may be dumb but Levin is evil.

Savage on Levin:

"He sounds like a Jewish grandmother undergoing a hysterectomy without anesthetic."

Savage on Hannity:

Can't argue with that. Hannity likes to whine, and its annoying. I like Levin, because he's a crazy person. And crazy is always entertaining, even though I don't really agree with him.

Its funny how these guys never throw spitballs at Rush.

in the realm of political talk (conservative) radio, you don't badmouth the head honcho...none of them would be on the radio if not for rush

stern invented talk radio, rush invented the genre of talk radio that Hannity, savage and Levin live in...more to the point with Hannity, he wouldn't be on the air period if not for rush...on most stations across the united states he had rush as a lead in and it helped grow his show more than anything he actually did/does on his show

and savage has bad mouthed rush, but he's not stupid...he won't beat a dead horse with it, because his listeners like rush

Part the reason they don't like each other is Hannity was bumped off by Cumulus and Savage took his timeslot. That really escalated things.

In terms of best talk show hosts, give me Neal Boortz over anyone. He was the best combination of intelligence, humor and entertainment. Miss that guy.

yea he pretty much is an idiot, barely finished H.S. and flunked out of juco. Listen to his radio show when he isn't reading script someone else wrote and it's fairly obvious what a moron he is.

I used to like Levin, he is a pretty astute lawyer and at least a better Constitutional scholar than the dung in the White House. His infatuation with Hannitys attention is a big turn off.

Weiner(Savage) is just a mean little jew, if you've know many of them, you know they have a tendency to say what they think, he's no different.

yea once his show went Tango Uniform it was a sad day.

exactly, my first post...their dislike is more to do with the industry and nothing to do with politics (though they'll try and paint it that way)

people would be shocked how heated radio is between stations and jockeys...and, though not in this genre, it can make for great radio if it is channeled in creative ways...for instance stern had people call into the show whenever they'd spot imus doing whatever ridiculous thing he was doing around town

You're going to have to get your anti-Semetism locked down - I thought Jews were supposed to be sneaky and scheming - "speaking their minds" seems to go against that - in the South, where I was raised, it's considered a virtue.

Or do they not know their place?

I agree with you, I don't think he's particularly intelligent, but not a complete moron...and I'm speaking more about his success on tv, you don't succeed on such a competitive time slot on a fricking news channel without knowing a thing or two.

he's terrible with debate, but he's good at interviewing people. my feelings about his radio show and television show are completely different...Hannity knows how to herd in the ratings.

I stopped listening to Levin when he had some guy on from Hillsdale College (an alleged expert on the Constitution) who stated the South was wrong to secede because there was nothing in the Constitution that specifically allowed secession.

Although I'm not a big fan of Hannity he does indeed do great interviews. His show on the black conservative movement was good stuff. I didn't know such a thing existed.

I don't really have an opinion of Levin.

LOVE Savage for the simple reason of he could give two fricks what people say or think about him and he speaks his mind.

yea I don't know, I consider good debate skills paramount when interviewing people you don't agree with, so I'm not much on his interviewing. He tends to repeat the same 2-3 talking point narrative over and over like a parrot. Hannity basically "made it" by following Rush on the radio, he simply followed whatever Rush's narrative of the day was and kept some of the carry over listeners engaged. Now he has smarter people than his self constructing his program, he is pretty much the proverbial empty suit filling the void.
