is rush in this conversation, because as a broadcaster, entertainer, etc...these other 3 aren't really in his stratosphere.

Stern

Really? I'd put it:

Limbaugh - Savage

Stern

I stopped listening to savage circa 2007, he's not a talent, but he's interesting.

Howard Stern loves ripping him and it's some pretty great shite...WEEEEINER

Hannity's on air personality is off putting. He's clearly not an interesting personality, but he discusses his life (same goes for mark Levin's anecdotes) His demeanor is "friendly smug". He's well liked by a various group of people though, so he must be nice. Howard Stern says he watches Hannity all the time and they're friends, he's friends with some powerful people, country musicians

I'm just sick of Hannity. He brings nothing to the table. Well, I take a little bit of that back. I believe Hannity's strenght is doing interviews. He does a good job of interacting with various politicians and popular personalities. I usually listen to F-baum or college sports radio when Hannity's on.

Levin is just boring anecdotal crap or angry harangue (gold to be found in some of these)

I enjoy Levin. I love when he gets pissed. It makes me LOL. But the thing about Levin is that his emotions are based in substance.

I've met Michael savage, a really nice guy. He borders genius and repugnant insanity, but unlike the other 2, he can be interesting beyond politics, and is a good storyteller

I haven't listen to Savage in a long time. I'm just not near the radio when his show is on and I'm not going out of my way to listen. When I have heard him I found him entertaining though.

I look at it free of the politics

rush has a great broadcasting voice, he can be interesting for hours on end, and he's a sharp guy (I'm sure savage runs circles around everyone in the IQ department, but Rush is a more practical and quick witted guy)

savage will bore you sometimes, he's not entirely a relatable personality. I think he may be insane. You can just tell from the broadcasts, he doesn't work very hard planning his show, if at all

I'm not sure if you guys knew this, but MSNBC (yeep...you read that right) used to have Savage on their station on Saturday afternoons more than a decade ago.

He was kicked off air for what was an amazing rant about planes, sodomites, and swine. I remember watching it live and it was simply awesome.

Steyn is solid.

The radio personalities that you can actually learn something from are Levin, Steyn, and Wilkow.

oh yeah, he's a disaster on television...I think rush and stern are genuine and honest (which really is the best thing a broadcaster can be) savage sometimes just seems like he's cultivating an image, and it can be disastrous.

I love that, though. To me he's really smooth, and his mood swings and changes in topic are conversational.

If you haven't, it is essential to listen to Michael Savage after a few solid hits off a blunt. It's like the entire show makes absolute sense, and you're, for the first time, understanding the spoken symphony of his performance.

if you like that, then stern is your man

he really is the king of all media, and yet he still has such a chip on his shoulder, people talking shite about him (his howard stern or BLANK segments are hilarious because of this) really hurts his feelings and pisses him off

they asked a bunch of street walkers "who would you rather get into an elevator with, howard stern or ray rice"

everyone said rice, and slowly but surely you can tell it's annoying him

then a black woman answers "stern"

stern: "alright, there we go, see...I'm not so bad"

they continue playing the clip

"because if howard stern ever tried that shite with me, I'd give it right back to him"

oh no, it's hilarious...when he was on tv, he'd try and cultivate the "savage" image and it was really bad...that appearance was fricking gold
