I'm not a complete dick IRL and enjoy life way more than a nilhist probably should.

Obviously, you don't know the history between DB & myself. I know he's a borderline troll.

I just had never seen anybody go after cubbies.

Politics wise: I play devil's advocate a lot with conservative position to challenge my liberal friends and I constantly gripe about entitled liberals who flaunt their degrees and cry about being baristas.

Non-politics: I love living in the south and took a yuge paycut to my household to move back to Louisiana.

I struggle with keeping and believing the faith, but I love the services, the people, and the wealth of theological writings that have been unearthed to me.

I'm a real nice guy, practical joker and rarely discuss politics IRL. One issue that contradicts my philosophy is my support for some public lands, and I have been involved in some conservation issues.

Faith is sort of cyclical. I've felt sort of disconnected lately myself, but I still believe.

My husband is in the process of converting, which is pretty awesome. I didn't pressure him but we agreed to raise kids Catholic and I think he's afraid of being left out

If I were to generalize about all SEC posters on this board, I'd say the Aggies are the least regressive, which surprises me at times.

Not poor at all but salaries in DC are ridiculously higher than in Louisiana.

So is the cost of living.

No doubt. Huge part of why I moved. I like to live in walking distance of restaurants and bars. In NOLA my mortgage is 1000 dollars less a month than my rent was in DC and I live in what I consider to be the best neighborhood in the city.

I don't think I even have to make the joke.

I have a highish (relative term) salary for a single guy in DC, and I never feel anything but poor up here.

Still not a fan of the Deep South outside a few cities and wouldn't move back for anything, though.

Do you live in Lakeview?

We're too poor for Lakeview, but I use the library there most often.

I had a very nice salary in DC and I had to pay half my income towards housing costs alone.
