Don't swallow the propaganda. I have a friend whose family is Syrian and they are Christian. They still have family in Syria and Syrian Christians prefer Assad. Sure he is brutal to the rebel factions but it's necessary to keep them at bay.
He has been relatively tolerant to the Christians of Syria. America needs to stop trying to remove every ruler they don't approve of. Not every country can have our type of democracy and leadership
