our networks is far too distributed for them to be able to make a major impact. Anonymous is a group of very talented hackers, and they couldn't even cause minor disruption.
Nevermind that if there was a group that could bring down the internet like that I highly doubt we would be able to trace them... although the incentive for the US would be much higher than in normal virus attacks, so possibly...

It's a good thread that generated some good information and food for thought for me.
What else can I ask of a thread?
I wasn't trying to make some kind of statement or point with the thread. I was just doing some thinking on some stuff that I learned.
