Don't forget either that Wisconsin is the birthplace of Public Sector Unions. They are exceptionally rabid, and their puppets in government have abused their power in phony investigations.

He is a few hours short of a college degree. If he gets it, then I think he's serious about running.

On top of all his accomplishments, this is another thing that the libs can't stand about him.

Ya see, if you didn't graduate from an Ivy League school, you are a rube, maybe just a step above a caveman.

Since Scott Walker doesn't have a degree, they hate him even worse than Sarah Palin.

How many college degrees does Obama have?

Obviously, having a college degree doesn't guarantee competence.

It's not just the union busting. He cut taxes and it did not create a deficit. Econ. growth increased revenue. For Dems that is like showing the cross to Dracula. They live and die with class warfare and that means preaching to the masses that the only way to prosperity is to increase taxes.

I’m a huge Scott Walker supporter. He is the closest politician to Ronald Reagan to come down the pike in quite some time. He isn’t afraid to take on the powerful and hold his ground. He is exactlt what we need in the white house after eight years of obama failure.

He rightfully reigned in public sector unions. Being a union state, this didn't sit over well with some folks there. He's won handily in two elections, though. He'll be fine.

He's statistically tied among likely voters with a still-relatively unknown Democratic challenger.

Is Walker the strongest candidate the GOP based on credentials? I have not heard him be vocal often, do y'all think he has the charisma to charm voters and explain yo the electorate?

I don't know how many he really has, he claims to have an undergrad degree and a JD from Harvard Law School. Sure would be nice if all of that could be verified.

As far as competence, you're right.

The Libs will still call you a rube if you don't have an Ivy League degree though, and they will make an issue of the fact that Walker hasn't graduated from a university.

Idiotic, but Libs are gonna Lib.

No doubt they'd make a big deal about it. The national media is useless these days, and that includes MSNBC, Fox News, and everyone in-between.

Walker is successful and Democrats hate him. Obama is unsuccessful and Democrats love him. Therefore, Democrats hate success.

There was a scandal. I think he was considered a front runner of sorts until this happened. It seems kind of meh to me but in a presidential campaign, you kind of need to be squeaky clean. I'd like for him to be a candidate.

quote:

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker could be in legal hot water. Prosecutors claim that Walker was at the “center of a scheme to violate campaign law by improperly coordinating campaign activities with outside groups.” Given his rising political position in the Republican Party, a reelection bid in Wisconsin in November and a prospective presidential candidacy in 2016, what might this scandal do to his political and electoral prospects? Here are key questions:

and I can't believe nobody has pointed this out yet. C'mon guys.

First time this has ever happened in politics. Is this a serious accusation or just like a self-reported recruiting violation to the NCAA? Do you think Obama has ever directed his PACs on their activities?

All that matters to the Ds is that they find something to pester successful Rs with and the media tries to make it a big deal with how they report it. When the thing blows over and is proven false all that's left is the faded scar that is highlighted by the media every time they talk about any conservative.

Examples:

Media- "And in the news today is Gov Scott Walker of Wisconsin, who not too long ago was accused of campaign violations. Today Governor Walker ........"

and on the other hand,

Media- "And in the news today is Secretary Hillary Clinton, who not too long ago provided food to a food bank and saved a baby seal from an oil spill when she called for the hash-tag, "#feed the hungry and save the seals from big oil." Today the dynamic Secretary Clinton ........"

It is funny watching the ministry of truth in action, but sad that sheep vote.

First of all, don't shoot the messenger. Either me or the media. The GOP has stopped pushing him as a potential frontruner so take your moaning to them.

Secondly: Blaming the "mainstream media" for any and everything doesn't help. Given your attitude and comments (and lack of knowledge of the Walker incident), I seriously doubt you consume much other than partisan media yourself.

Didn't shoot anybody. Just calling it like I see it. You are certainly being sensitive this morning. I didn't attack or insult you, just pointed out how I feel about the situation and the biased media.

No they haven't. Just sitting back and waiting. As soon as a member of the right announces an intent to run for a big office, the Ds bring out the sharpened knives and as indicated in my previous post, the media allows it and promotes it.

You can stick your head in the sand all you want, but the media's reporting on scandal and controversy is embarrassingly partisan. You leftists always want to bring up whining and moaning from the right about media coverage as being some type of weakness, but it is only truth. You, and all Ds, know that the mainstream media bias exists, but only want to use the attitude of rolling your eyes and insulting me (the messenger) with the whole warn out,
quote:

I seriously doubt you consume much other than partisan media yourself.
as a defense mechanism.

When logic would dictate that if I believe in media bias, I must watch more than just Fox News (which I don't watch). But as usual, you would prefer to insult and make assumptions about me. It's ok, I can understand your position and feeling of superiority because it is how you guys are programmed.

I don't really care about the accusations of the leftist prosecutors of Wisconsin. And did you even read the article you posted? The WHOLE DAMN THING was about the scandal's effect on his electability, and not any substance about the actual scandal. maybe you should research the scandal before insulting someone about their knowledge of the "Walker incident." Maybe there is some legs to the scandal, but likely its just another leftist grenade that is tossed at successful conservatives to slander them for future media introductions and give the low information voters the doubt that is needed to oppose a good and successful man like Walker.

I still appreciate your contributions to the board and think you are a knowledgable poster, but just a little misguided and arrogant.
