A great surgeon that should not get involved in politics.

He would be 1,000 times better President than Obama.

Because President Obama was so eminently qualified when he ran for office.

At least he was in the political arena for a little bit.

He was a state senator and a U.S. senator.

And you see what his presidency has turned out to be. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

State Senator and US Senator. A little more experience than Paul. Odd that those who claimed (incorrectly) that Obama had the least experience ever are now on the Paul bandwagon.

But back to my question.... Has there ever been a candidate elected with zero political or military experience? I can't think of one.

He has one major qualification over Obama. He was never a community organizer....read...Communist. Now, if you can show me that he was ever a communist then I would not support him.

Re-elected. Something Bush 1, Ford, Johnson or Truman couldn't do.

In modern times? I would heartily agree with you. I cannot think of anyone.

I doubt he understands the voting demographics and how to wage a presidential campaign state by state, he does not have the political structure and support, he does not understand the bureaucratic nature of Washington, DC. He is simply an honorable, intelligent man that sees our nation in distress. Unfortunately that is not enough to win a presidential election.

Admire him as a human being, would not want him to face a savage election cycle.

You enjoy tooting your horn re your vast political knowledge but your insistence that the president is a communist is not, in Wolf's words, a ringing endorsement. In fact you'd be laughed at in circles outside your own.

In all of history.

I'll check but I'm sure I'm correct.

I think he would be an ideal Cabinet member , HHS comes to mind or put him in charge of the VA to fix that mess.

I know a communist when I smell one. Obama is one. You can laugh all you want. But everything I posted about him on this board when he first got elected has come true. Do you remember my 100 posts about Biz Con? Did it not happen? Is it still not happening as I predicted? Hmmmmm?

Bush 1 - Lost to Clinton (No new taxes - held accountable)
Ford - Lost to Carter (Pardoned Nixon and led poorly - held accountable)
Johnson - Did not run for re-election
Truman - Lost to Eisenhower (Simple luck of the draw - it happens)

Not sure how those all correlate and support your position regarding President Obama. Nixon won re-election. As did Bush 2 (a very bad thing in your construct).

Not a ringing endorsement of our electorate.
