So, at this point, I think it's safe to assume a lot of Americans are disgusted with the political system of the moment.
Even liberals admit that there is an "elite" class that rules for their benefit. Everyone knows that the system is rigged, and most know that it isn't rigged in the common citizen's favor.
Getting rid of Trump will likely cause that calm disdain to heat up considerably. It might also lead to the electorate putting someone as bad / worse into office in 2020.
