I think he should send Ivanka or Kushner and his health advisor (Talento?) out to tour marijuana facilities TBH. Show some proactiveness while keeping it at your own personal arms' length so as not to alienate your base too much.

Evangelicals are open to legal weed I think - they've evolved quite a bit.

I actually love that Democrats are convinced the path to the WH involves a shrill, rude female Senator

Can't blame Harris for emulating Warren and Clinton, obviously those are women who Americans relate to.

They'll fall in line. She's already met with Hillary's donors......on more than one recent occasion

quote:

After propping her up as the Democratic Party’s Trump resistance hero, the Democratic establishment, including Clinton donors and staffers, are lining up behind the idea of Sen. Kamala Harris running for president in 2020. Earlier this month, Harris met with several top Clinton donors in the Hamptons and attended a luncheon hosted for her by Liz Robbins, one of Hillary Clinton’s top lobbyist bundlers. This weekend, Harris returned to the Hamptons for more meet-and-greets with top Clinton donors. This time she met with Harvey Weinstein, Citigroup banker Ray Mcguire and former U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice. The continued meetings and lavish galas signal that Democratic elites are rallying behind Harris as she positions herself to run for president in 2020.

That's a damn good start

People forget but Obama worked his arse off in 2007-08 to appeal to a wide range of people. He didn't just appear and depend on being black. If the Democrats think they can just whip out Booker or Harris and cruise they will be mistaken.

Women don't even want to be around women like that. I honestly don't understand how any self respecting white male can vote for a candidate like that.

It looks similar to the way too late Hillary v Donald map.

Trump destroys her in Midwest and South.

Wouldn't be surprised if he took Virginia

Booker is way more formidable than Harris. She isn't very smart or doesn't think on her feet quickly is what I should say.

Dems aren't taking any chances this time. Running a black women will pretty much win the election.

The republican's only hope is to find a gay Mexican to run against her.

Booker is a nutjob though

Although between the two of them, I agree, he's definitely more likable.

I'll go out on a limb and say Kamala Harris will not be the Dem. nominee.

I would be really surprised if she is the nominee. I am not saying it won't happen, as it could, but I would be surprised.

besides having not that much experience, there are several other senators that are interested (franken) plus the dems have pulled from the senate for 4 elections in a row.

if the dems are smart, they will go with a southern or western governor.

finally elections are generally won or loss on the economy. Trump changed that in 2016 but will he in 2016? if the economy is good I woudl suspect he will be re-elected. if it sucks, he will be out.

Hispanics will not turn out for Booker like they did for Obama.

Booker would be a much more formidable opponent.

They may not turn out for Booker, but they will turn out against Trump.

I'm not sure why any would moreso than they did in 2016. Is that what you're suggesting?

If that's the Best the Democratic party has then their in serious trouble! What will be her platform? Racist white folk and War on women all over again? Or will she have anything of substance that will benefit America and its citizens?
