Wrong. Largely, they were lacking the financial means to do so. Trump got out of the war because he's a pussy and had the financial means to do so. Never mind that he's almost certainly full of shite.

Bone spurs don't have to be crippling. Bone spurs are a reason military service can be denied (like many other seemingly trivial issues). Many people plays sports with bone spurs, I have. This article is full of sarcastic and derogatory adjectives.

Think what you want, I was only responding to "why did his condition have be to fake."
He certainly could have gone to Vietnam by not taking X-rays if that's something he wanted to do.

What do you mean in regards to my post?
Are you saying he faked it 4 times or avoided going 4 times? I've never said he wanted to go (obviously he didn't), just that I don't see where his way out was faked.

Kudos to your pops.
I understand posters seeing it as a smart play to avoid it, but that shouldn't be used as a negative towards the people who volunteered.
Whether we should have been there or not because your father did what he did was that was one less person forced into something against their will, or at the least additional support for someone there against their will.
