I agree. NK wants the tools but wouldn't use them. They want to believe they could make a retaliatory strike if ever the US came calling and the fest step in doing that is having the tools.

Now. If NK had the military to follow up with a full military attack on the US I'd feel there was more of a threat. They aren't dumb enough to launch a missile then just sit back and wait to be vaporized

An excuse for war?

What gain could anyone POSSIBLY have by going to war with NK?

But you, and probably most other socialist democrats see no credible threat here?

Answer these questions:

1) What year did the US complete the Manhattan project?
2) What year did NK develop that technology?
3) How many years passed in between the two events?

If this war goes down, it better be called the "Pyongyang Gang Bang".

1) 1945
2) You don't have to develop the technology, to possess it.
3) Very few people outside of the hermit nation actually know if they possess nukes or not, and if so, when they got them. You can bet it was some time after 1994, when Bill Clinton told us all that his deal with these idiots fixed the problem, and ended the threat of a nuclear North Korea though.

Now answer mine:

1) What the hell does any of your questions have to do with North Korea possibly having the means and capability of delivering a nuclear warhead to the continental US?

2) Do you find that possibility acceptable? If so, how many American deaths are you okay with?

3) Given China's protective hand over North Korea since the Korean war, do you think it makes it more, or less likely that the madman ruling North Korea may believe he can get away with attacking the US, without being obliterated?
