No one that "respects individual rights" would defend North Korea.
I personally don't care if they are feeding their populace off of homemade Soylent Green. But threatening the U.S., or even our allies, with a nuke is a no go IMO.

People seriously want to go to war with a country for telling us to frick off and that they can develop whatever weapons they so choose. Using weapons, threatening to use weapons, and owning weapons are very different things.

So let me get this straight. The last NK missile test showed the capability to reach Alaska with ease, and very likely the west coast of the US. Reports now come out that NK may have miniaturized nuclear devices small enough to fit in these missiles.
But you, and probably most other socialist democrats see no credible threat here? Please, have all of your dangerously stupid democrat political heroes, from Bill Clinton (who facilitated the disaster we are now faced with in 1994) all the way to Bernie Sanders, come out publicly in their opposition to doing anything about North Korea. That way, when North Korea cooks off Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Las Vegas, Phoenix or the like, at least we'll have the benefit of never having Democrats run the country in the ground again.
