Yea, he only ordered a series of random bombings in Sudan and Iraq (the former against the advice of the Joint Chiefs of Staff) to deflect the media attention, while completely ignoring intelligence regarding al-Qaeda, and admittedly missed an opportunity to kill Bin Laden. Whoops.

My mistake. If you document this, I don't think it stands up well to 10 years of mismanaged wars.

No hate for republicans. Am friends with plenty. Just constantly amazed that the costliest lies came from Reagan, Nixon and Bush, yet this board is obsessed with Obama.

Did you watch the Iran contra hearings? No Fox News or Rush Limbo to interpret it for you? Did you watch it live and draw your own conclusions? Did you watch the Watergate hearings? Did you see Nixon deny, resign, then later admit to it all? I'm not defending any president. Prior to Kennedy, they seem decent, but neither did they have the camera on them 24/7, nor did they have their employees write books about them. Kennedy was a philanderer. Great. Well documented. However, he did freely and immediately claim responsibility for the Bay of Pigs. Clinton lied about the blowjob. No Foreign policy implications. So beat up Obama for Benghazi, but ignore Reagan telling the marines to stand down while a truck bomb killed 241? Ignore Colin Powell's complaints that what went into the SOU speech where Bush spoke falsely? He knew it in advance. While you are at it, you might want to investigate the 400-600 incubators that Saddam's army tossed Kuwaiti babies out of when they invaded, testimony orchestrated in front of congress used to justify the 1991 war. Later, we learned Kuwait did not even own a fraction of that amount of the units, and no one saw any of it happen.

All this knowledge.

Thoughtful reply, save for not responding to anything in the post. Any thoughts, or is mom telling you it's bedtime?

You're a hack. Vote for one party no matter.

Spent years following the circus, but still enthralled with the lie.

It's not R vs D. It's government vs us.

You're a moron.

To probably half the population it is, which is why we never see any real change. They honestly think there's a big difference. Pitiful

Roger, been enjoying your posts for years. Never any doubt it's R over D as the unspoken premise in your view enthymeme. C'mon.

I probably have voted for double the Republicans as I have Dems. Most of the time the R spews something that's a little closer to what I want than the D. This isn't always the case however.

I haven't voted for either party for president in over 20 years. Do you really think Obama is that much different than Bush? Hell, at least Bush had leadership ability, but both are/were awful. I find it really hard to believe that you'd vote for Obama over anyone with an R by their name unless you're a committed Democrat.

I don't bash Obama over every little thing, but he's a horrible leader, awful communicator, has no vision, and doesn't instill confidence in me at all. His policies aren't much different than Bush.

I'd vote for Bill Clinton over Bush.

First off, I consider myself one of those libertarian repub types that are so popular nowadays but holy frickin shite...shut the frick up. You are the kind of person that is holding true (as in a return to classical liberalism) progress back. I feel we as a party take two steps forward and some Simple Jack like you feels the need to discredit us five steps back. Quit giving people like Rex and Tuba ammo. Pretty please with cherries on top just stahp

You ruin a somewhat legit argument with this.
If true you are not only a fool but a stupid fool.
And yes I'm old enough to remember all of that and more.

There we have it. A guy who can recite every flaw of a Republican, real or imagined. And can't see a single one of a Democrat.

We have too many of your kind. On both sides of the aisle. And y'all are why we're where we are today.

You sound young. Can you answer any of the questions? Did you pick up a newspaper and see the headline in 1983 that 241 Americans were dead in Beruit? Did you watch Reagan say "I don't remember? " Into the camera regarding trading with the enemy? Did you see Nixon get on the helicopter for the last time?

To me - you sound young - and stupid.

I watched everything you mentioned unfold in real time. If you were alive to watch it you must be the dumbest person in the world to come to the conclusions you have posited. More likely you have just been brainwashed into seeing only what your handlers want you to see.

I suspect you are of the 60's era - 'make love not war' - flower power ideology. I laughed at them at the time and my only regret is that I was not more active in nipping that shite in the bud while it was evolving. I and my peers were too busy busting our asses creating all the wonderful things you have today and negligently allowed your degenerate lifestyle to take root and grow into the absolute evil we witness today from your ilk.

If I could go back to the 60's, I'd quit my job and sacrifice my career to encourage others to do the same and mount counter-protests over what kooks you all are. We'd have been labeled the kooks for sure, but if we had succeeded just a little bit, the world would be a much better place today - without this cancer that has metastasized to every part of this politically correct bullshite we are enduring today.

I suppose he could have invaded Grenada to deflect media attention the way Reagan did after the slaughter of our marines in Lebanon.

Also, the bombing in Sudan was pursuant to intelligence re AQ and the manufacturing of nerve gas there. And personally I'd rather he drop bombs and launch missiles to take out Iraqs WMD facilities than invade and occupy.

Republican presidents love to invade countries.

So I take it you're not a hack and a moron and vote for the candidate regardless of the party?

Who was the last Democrat you voted for and which potential Democrat you're thinking of voting for in 2016?
