Progressive Fascism in full bloom. This is the America they crave, white males guilty until proven innocent, and only then after trial by ordeal at the hands of virtue-signaling Prog filth.
In a related story, I had a friend (poor Tom) who was married to a USC Gender Studies professor who called me a racist over dinner because I could quote crime statistics correctly. I offered the facts dispassionately and without comment and she went into a full on rant about how I was being disrespectful to "people of color" because I was "white privileged and racist". The only "person of color" at the table was my wife. Poor Tom divorced the miserable wench years ago.

They are the most authoritarian, hypocritical, intellectually dishonest humans on earth.
1. This guy is guilty because he is accused and has no recourse to fight this nonsense. The only redeeming part is that he will get a lot of money in his inevitable lawsuit.
2. The SJW mentality is that one cannot criticize what they deem as "fact by consensus", especially if you are a certain gender or race. They frame the questions of their intellectual laziness/dishonesty as "discounting the experiences of victims". So, by claiming their argument as the "indisputable moral high ground", they can justify using the same discriminatory practices that they claim are so vile.
My favorite thing to watch is when someone like a black woman dares to challenge them. They immediately turn into what is essentially a klansman and criticize said protected minority.
