Funny thing about being 17 trillion in debt
It makes other countries think you can't afford a war

You mean the country that we owe most of that debt too? Think it would be smart for them to start a war with us and they can't even transport troops to our shores?

They don't need troops to our shores. That's so WW2

Ain't shite gonna happen. We are wasting fuel.
Posted on 8/23/14 at 9:31 pm to Da Sheik
Oh, so they want the nuke option? That would work out well for them too.
China will make their noise like they have done for the last few decades. It won't mean shite in the grand scheme of things just like the pretend problems that N. Korea has been threatening.

God it's always something in the foreign affairs.....
Having a leader that is strong in that aspect has to be really really high on the list of attributes. Obama was null and void of it. It scares me with Rand but all my chips are already pushed in.

It's just a matter of time before they pull a Crimea.

Why do people keep saying this??? Putin and Jinping and the other oligarchs don't care about anything but themselves and W or Bozo or Reagan wouldn't make anything any different.

Awwwwman, you don't know what you talking about. Putin can probably suck his own cock and that is cool. He signs these agreements and shite with other countries and he takes pictures without his shirt on. He be the man dammit.
His country is a total shithole and he is about to bankrupt it. But dammit, he is the man!!!
And unlike the our dumb arse president, Putin actually has the power to do what he wants and is responsible for what is going on 100%.

I'm not one of those people that suck Putin off. He is a piece of shite and a terrible leader. He will be on the wrong side of history. Russia with the right leadership and all of their resources could really be something. Instead they are a joke. But that doesn't mean he doesn't do what he wants no matter if Reagan or Carter was in office.

I'm very much in agreement with you.

They do care about themselves. That is why they don't cross leaders who are not afraid to kick them with the big black boot when they get too cocky
The whole damn world was nervous as hell to cross Bush. Didn't like a lot of his decisions, but it can't be argued that every country knew who the frigging boss was when he was President

They are just as terrified of Obama but for other reasons
Posted on 8/23/14 at 9:57 pm to LSUBadger
These other leaders in the world are the same asshat nutcases we have always had to deal with. They don't give a damn who is president of the USA. They generally are nut jobs.
Posted on 8/23/14 at 10:01 pm to notiger1997
They are nut jobs no matter who is president. That said, their behavior does change based on who the US president is
Qadaffi just all of a sudden decided to change his ways? Had nothing to do with Bush?
Putin going full retard again and again has nothing to do with his perception of Obama?

Maybe to an extent, but I don't think it's as much as many suspect with some leaders. I mean it's something you can't quantify.
I do agree that foreign affairs may need to be a POTUS absolute strong point.
