Do any of you snowflakes have the data on the US ranking in education since 1980?

*Edited to help the snowflakes not melt so fast.

Politicians don't care enough about education. That's the problem.

Everytime a president plays golf he's spending more money than a teacher makes in a year.

Education should be one of everyone's main focus but it's not. And that hurts America.

Friend of mine from Vancouver is a music teacher making 93k in 3rd year

think about that for a second; even if vancouver is expensive, not even sf teachers make that amount after 10 years.

They care about teacher unions....who in reality can give a shite about excellence in the classroom. Most of the time, their goals are against the best interests of the student.

So, you equate paying teachers too much money with success in education. I think this is a major part of the problem. Education is about the students, not the teachers.

In English, questions are signified with a question mark (?) or a relative pronoun (who, what, when, etc.)

My point was how other countries emphasize more on education.

It wouldnt be uncommon to say country which pays x for teachers cares more about education than country which pays x/2

Not at a public school s/he's not.

The minimum salary in Vancouver was $50k-ish. The maximum is $80k-ish.
