Do you really buy the propaganda that Putin is not immensely popular in Russia? His actual approval rating in Russia is probably higher than 90%, ask anyone that has family over there

All the crying on here about the poor Russians is ridiculous. They invaded Ukraine, used prohibited weapons on civilians. At this point if Ukraine had a nuke and used it, would be justified. Anything against the Russians is justified. Frickem don’t start no shite won’t be none.

I agree.

The whole concept of war "crimes" is ludicrous

I kinda agree....."look everyone...the people trying to kill each other in a war aren't killing each other by the rules"

Now I can agree that unarmed/surrendered combatants should be treated humanely for a number of reasons. But that's my viewpoint from my perspective...which is easy to have when it's not my hometown being invaded.

It would be great if war could stay somewhat civilized with civilians not being targeted, and cordial conduct for POWs which is a lot of what we have seen so far. But if one side starts down that road the other side will follow suit, that’s what you see here. Look at what we did to Japan, and North Korea. Go look up the extent that we bombed North Korea during the conflict.

No downvotes might just mean that they don’t like it or that it’s gross.

Nothing in modern times can compare to the horrific tortures and brutality of both the Japanese and the North Koreans in those wars

lol. Sounds like Jim Jong Un numbers. Everybody stop taking about people lapping up propaganda, because you are all lapping up whatever propaganda you agree with.

Give it a misguided uninformed rest. Half of the history you state is worthless.

Now try again including the actins of the Japanese against Americans, Chinese and Koreans. Until then your worthless dialog is just that. Worthless and uniformed historically.

God bless the Ukrainians. Too bad they didn’t slit their throats and let them bleed out like pigs.

The Russian are way more brutal and it’s not even close.

Then war crimes are ok?

I’ll keep that in mind.

We can stop overreacting to them though.

The only ones holding some bullshite moral high ground is the US.

You think the people that high contractors’ burned bodies from a bridge in Iraq were sent to prison?

But let some marines piss on some bodies and people here in the US flip out.

Nobody here should give a rats arse about Ukraine vs Russia other than the fact that our government is using it to hurt this country even more.

And I’m going to say shame on you for not being willing to do whatever it takes to protect your family and friends

First of all, you have no idea what Linoge or anyone else would do (or has done) to protect their family.

Secondly, this is a political war, and everyone concerned has fault aplenty, including instigators like our own government. The current administration and everyone who empowered them contributed to the loss of innocent life in Ukraine (both Russian and Ukrainian) and ought to be ashamed. None of us know jack-shite about what's really going on over there, but you can bet your arse that shooting those soldiers in the leg had nothing to do with protecting a family.
