Ukrainians are finally committing Abrams and losing them

It is an older model, but it seems Biden's laundry mat is now using Abrams. I think they waited because the heavy beasts use a lot of fuel, but it is just as likely that the US didn't want the embarrassing losses. The Challengers suffered their first loses in history, and the UK are not happy.

This sucks. All the western armor - Challengers, Leopards, Bradley's and Abrams - should have been used along a defense belt and the greatest counter offensive in history should never have happened. The Ukrainians should have dug in and built defenses like Russia did and then begin peace talks.
Our leaders who forced the "counter offensive" and forced the peace talks to be cancelled, are evil.

The problem isn’t the equipment it’s the fact Ukraine doesn’t have the resources to maintain it nor do they have people properly trained on how to use it

Tanks are useless when drones, missiles, rpgs,etc are available.
Eta: Even hamas is taking out the Isreali merkava tank that has some of the best armor in the world.

There have been plenty of articles about anti-drone protection on IDF armor. Missiles and RPGs have been a thing, for a long time, if you haven't noticed. Panzerfaust much?

Correct, it would take multiple rpg rounds however but the tank is pretty ineffective without air cover and they have none

Panzerfaust isn’t comparable to the newest rpg variant by any stretch of the imagination and Ukraine lacks operators who have enough experience in the field to impact the war in a meaningful way

You're a special person. I can't imagine that tanks have evolved since 1945. Reactive armor, etc.
I don't dispute that at all. But put the blame on the lack of effective combat arms tactics, ADA, etc., and not on the vehicle. These aren't exploding Pintos.

The first tank was taken out by a Krasnopol shell. It was under observation by a drone which was probably integrated into the artillery unit.
