right

don't get me wrong. Our troops should have long been out of these desert shitholes they are still dying in.

But let's try to pretend you remember for a moment who bears the responsibility for them being there.

You really aren't the best obama troll on politalk.

Did Obama want the troops to stay longer or not? Yes or no?

His next step will be to officially request Putin to send in security forces to restore the "legally elected" government.

Putin will send in tanks & helicopters under the pretense it is necessary to stop violence and save lives and to protect the ethnic Russians who are Ukrainian citizens.

Putin will most likely wait a little bit for all the opposition groups to start fighting each other, which is already occurring. Then his "liberation" will have more legitimacy.

Certainly.

And he is wrong for wanting it.

The moment bin laden went down the planes should have been full of troops returning from the region.

And they should have never been in Iraq to start with.

Was the Parliament's action extra-Constitutional?

No oil. No care.

They have a lot of oil they also have a lot of oil pipelines that take Russian oil to the western markets.

The Ukraine also has massive Uranium mines which is where the U.S.S.R. got much of its cold war uranium for its military and civilian nuclear programs from and the Ukraine continues to be heavily dependent on nuclear power for its electricity.

I think we should care but I do not think there is a goddamn thing we can do about what happens there, regardless who the president is.

Obama will issue a strongly worded press release.

Obama needs to STFU. He has no authority or jurisdiction. Not to mention that side of the world doesn't favor the U.S. nor do they give two shits what Obama has to say. That's the problem with this country always budding their noses in world affairs.

I don't know the details of Ukraine's constitution. I doubt the Ukrainians do either.

You were gone so long I was sure you caught a flight to the Ukraine to help stave off the Russian hordes.

I have flown to Kiev many times. It takes much longer than an LSU baseball game takes.

LSURussian, without a doubt, you know a lot more than I do about Ukraine and Russia, so I respect your opinions. However, as of lately, where has the US ever been successful with installing a democracy or a democratic "anything" in a foreign country ? Grenada perhaps?

The Ukainians can do it themselves if given the chance. Poland did. Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, all of the former Yugoslavian republics all developed democracies. It's what Putin fears in Ukraine more than anything.

According to the Ukrainian Constitution the Rada (parliament) can initiate impeachment for crimes, which is what they have voted to do.

Well...that makes sense. It's an interesting situation.
