Gotta plug it up with some dressing.

Why is Turkey stepping all over our weak President?

I can't keep up with all the frogs and memes and the cool kids.
I just thought we'd see a new leaf being turned over once DJT started running things. He's spoken with Erdogan, and even met with him if I'm not mistaken. When does this become his show?
But if me being a slapdick to highlight the hack hypocrisy around here bothers you then you should just ignore me for the next 4/8 years

I'd like our President to keep our allies from leaking the position of our troops. Is that too much to ask?
but nobody is controlling Turkey right now. they're radical
they almost created a war with Russia a couple of times in 2015-2016, are basically only in the Syrian effort to kill Kurds, and have thumbed their nose as any sort of guidance from Western Europe or the US. you're trying to create some "gotcha" argument and you've picked the wrong variable
you look like a fricking idiot

No, no, no. I was told that we have a strongman entering the White House and the bad actors of the world would respond differently to him than they did that pussy, Barack HUSSEIN Obama.
So what's going wrong here?

You have always been a slapdick. That hasn't changed. Have fun pointing out hypocrisy. It's a noble cause.
Glass houses and such....since we are using cliches in this thread.

bro Turkey almost got into war with RUSSIA a few times (which, ironically, would have dragged us in)
Turkey is an irrational actor right now. it's that simple
this isn't a Trump problem and it isn't an Obama problem. it's a Turkey problem

if this Turkey situation has taught us anything, it's that we need to change the mechanisms of NATO to allow expulsion more easily. we're being handcuffed by a Cold War-era policy protecting a completely irrational actor (likely emboldened by NATO's protections)

So now even our allies are shitting on our heads?

If they are, it's because they've had 8 years of instruction here of how to go totally off the rails about it.

Between this and North Korea, I'm so tired of these little baby countries shitting on our heads. We need a real leader
You obviously are incapable of any logical thought process as to how our foreign affairs got so fricked up...8 years of niglect.

Yeah, it was the 6 months of Trump, not the 8 years of Obama that's shaped our current foreign policy up to this point...
You do realize, our FP will take a few more months to be established to the world, right? Hell, y'all blamed Bush for EVERYTHING under the sun up until Obama's last year in office. Even then, it was still "Bush's Fault".
In late 2009 you were trying to pin high unemployment and the price of gas on Obama even though both were improving and had turned in the right direction. Not really the same thing.

I just want a strongman to make me feel comfortable at night. I was told DJT was the guy. I'm just a little worried, bub. Have some mercy on your old internet friend.
Posted on 7/19/17 at 11:04 am to boosiebadazz
if Putin can't keep Turkey in check, there is no strong man on earth who can do that job
you're creating a strawman to get gotcha points on a bad example. you're doubling down
