Turkey's state-run news agency leaked the positions of U.S. military bases and special forces stationed in northern Syria Tuesday as Ankara continues to vent its anger over Washington's support for Syrian Kurds on its southern border.

The report goes on to list the U.S. areas of operation and the precise district in which they are stationed. It also provides the presence of U.S. and French special forces at particular bases, and the number of elite forces stationed there.

Alright Turkey, enough of your bullshite.

Why is Turkey stepping all over our weak President?

Between this and North Korea, I'm so tired of these little baby countries shitting on our heads. We need a real leader.

Turkey puts our servicemen at risk and you want to take a pot shot at Trump. Sounds about right.

Yeah, it was the 6 months of Trump, not the 8 years of Obama that's shaped our current foreign policy up to this point...

You do realize, our FP will take a few more months to be established to the world, right? Hell, y'all blamed Bush for EVERYTHING under the sun up until Obama's last year in office. Even then, it was still "Bush's Fault".

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Interesting that NOW is when you've found your high horse to sit upon.

We were supposed to be getting a strong, respected President, but apparently Turkey didn't get the memo. Someone should call Mike Flynn to fix this.

I seems like you just put words down you've read somewhere once before without having any clue what they mean.

But hey... when in Rome.

Erdogan has been flubbing his nose at us for years, with Obama and with Trump. Now that we've chosen to work with the SDF to capture Raqqa, he knows we're not going to ever really partner with the Turks when it comes to Syria. So his incentive to play nice is gone. We should kick Turkey out of NATO.

I'm sorry about your safe space, lieutenant Dan.

She smelt like hack hypocrisy.

Other than your mangled forest gump lines, what is your point you are trying to make? Should we just nuke turkey so boosiebadazz on TD can't point out irrelevant "hypocrisy"?

I thought the goose/gander routine was called whataboutism now? I agree with you, though, that what is good for the goose is good for the gander. It isn't a very accurate description here, unfortunately. You think the last 6 months is what influenced Turkey's foreign policy? Over our last 8 years? What would you want our leader to do? Red line? Strongly worded letter? Hearing Dems criticize trump as "soft" rings a little hollow.

I'd like our President to keep our allies from leaking the position of our troops. Is that too much to ask?

But accepting your proposition that we have a strong, respected President, what does BeeFeense on tigerdroppings think our response should be?

Or can we maybe just admit that geopolitics is difficult and rational actors acting in their own self interest are difficult to manage regardless of who occupies the Oval Office?
