Wrong - I think that guy was expecting a confrontation, was prepared to act like an indignant dick, and was prepared to document it. I think that guy acts like an indignant dick a lot during the course of his day.
I would put him in the same category as the Joey Boots guy in New York and that a-hole who goes around sticking his video camera in people's faces and says nothing.

I don't even...
These morons just got a pay increase of over 50% on non-stop flights too
Something was up.
Granted, the TSA looked like the nitwits they are, but I do not think we got the whole story here.

How DARE someone stand up for their rights that hundreds of thousands of people have fricking DIED for.

You don't have to be a dick to stand up for your rights. Dick.

I don't care why they did it, it was still stupid. Any potential threat was over when he got off the plane.

Well
Somewhat. There is still a considerable potential risk if he remains in the airport.
The proper approach would have been to escort him outside of the "secure" section of the airport.

Honestly, if the guy was placed on the No Fly list because of him being an Imman, then he managed to get his name removed and he continues to be harassed or receive "special attention" every time he flies, I can understand why he wants to document every trip through airports. I'd be just as pissed and a dick to those guys, too, if I kept getting harassed for no reason other than the TSA was too zealous in placing me on a No-Fly list and I beat them at their game.
Good for him. A very uplifting and inspiring video.

He was placed on the no-fly list for reasons unknown. Was removed from the list after a bunch of pressing but is still subject to additional screening each time he goes through security.
In this case he was asked to leave the plane before everyone else so he could be detained by tsa.

because they came in and pulled him off the plane after it landed and before they let anyone else get out of their seat. Basically, they paraded him off the plane like he was some type of criminal.
and the no fly list is now unconstitutional because there was no process in place to get your name off the no fly list.

Iti was responding to the guy who said there was no point to it.
If they didn't do full screening they were supposed to, he is a security risk.
The fact that he already flew doesn't mean anything.
Now if he leaves the airport the point is moot.
But if he turns around and tries to get into to another plane than the security risk is still open.
It isn't like this falls under some twist of double jeopardy and if you get through security somewhere, you are free and clear. frick safety, they had their chance.
As the passenger said he just wanted to go, the proper way to handle it is to just let him go. Just need to make sure he actually goes outside the secure zone. Everybody wins. He doesn't get pointlessly harassed and the security breach made by the foulup is closed.
