I'm 47 years old and have never had a negative experience with law enforcement. I've had my fair share of speeding tickets but it's amazing how smoothly these go when you respond with "yes sir" and "no sir"

I can't imagine someone having 15 interactions with the police. Guess I'm living under a rock.

I've deposed more than several police officers. A lot were fine but there were quite a few who were downright dishonest and a handful that were hostile

Not really, I just don't act like a TPOS or break any laws that would put me in a "negative" altercation with the police. It's really not hard if you try............

Many law abiding citizens have found trying to walk the line doesn't keep them from negative interactions with law enforcement.

I had a cop pull me over for running a stop sign (there was no stop sign in the direction I was going,) and literally try to provoke me into taking a swing at him

And you didn't take a swing? Pussy. Next time grab his pistol and whip he face with it a few times to show him who's running the show.

Here's how I usually handle the coppers.

Let me tell you what I have done so we can compare notes. I've raised three kids, put them through college and watched them become productive, tax paying members of society. NO, I don't always agree with what the police do, especially in cases where they bust into someones home, uninvited and wind up killing an innocent person. So, you've jumped to a conclusion that is completely false. Now go ahead and tell me how insignificant it is that I raised three quality kids, have had the same job for 20 years, go to Church, pay my taxes and have never been arrested. I know that doesn't fit your "no justice, no peace" view of America.

But this kid got his arse in a jam for doing something that i was able to convince my children to never do......steal and physically assault someone. Keep protecting this loser. I bet you also think that it's law enforcement's fault that they are looting their own town as well?

This is what logic looks like.

Clearly the only rational move would be to disobey, back talk, go for the cops gun, then rush the cop to attack again.

Perfectly logical.

So logic = excessive use of force doesn't exist because some guy on an internet board raised three kids and held down a job?

If you're doing nothing wrong, the cop is being an a-hole, and threatening, goes for his gun, your initial reaction may not be what you think it may be.

Excessive use of force isn't present IF he isn't being charged by a 250+lb aggressive man who just went for a cops gun. but lets ignore that since it doesn't fit the agenda right?

That's one side of the story. If it's true then the cop did nothing wrong. If it's true.

Is there evidence this happened?

That's the officer's account. And it's why the "going for the gun" argument is irrelevant. All sides seem to agree that Brown was shot at a moderate distance. The issue is whether he was engaging the officer or whether he was fleeing or submitting.

Yeah, I've heard that side of the story. I'd say if they were in a struggle for the gun which the perp initiated, it could be justified. I'm not 100% convinced this is what happened though.

It's the video of the guy at the scene saying MB ran towards the officer, but with captions, and shorter.

I didn't hear running towards police. I heard coming back towards the police. There are people claiming he was surrendering. This doesn't really prove anything.
