rump tweeting an actual fricking doctor as if he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. Sheesh. Congress and the president should listen up to the fricking doctors in the room.

You do know that Cassidy is a doctor right?

And Trump is 100% right about rand. He's a media whore who has no interest in truly governing and is only is in it to build his brand so he can continue to live off the public Dime and tax dollars and get tanked off lobbyists accounts.

He's a Senator. On this issue, he's lying his arse off for political reasons.

Which lobbyist are his biggest donors? Genuinely curious.

I always agree with Rands idealogy but also realize congress won't pass what he wants.

Is the Graham-Cassidy bill a step in the right direction? If so then pass it and hope we make further gains in 2018 so we can tweak it to make it even better

Rand Paul got like .0000001% of the primary vote. He needs to follow or get out of the way.

And for heaven's sake, I'm tired of folks acting like he's some kind of dadgum savior-genius.

1. Rand has called for an end to our pointless and expensive overseas wars and tried to force a vote for a new AUMF if they are to continue.

2. Rand opposes the NSA spying program, which is the largest and most thorough spying apparatus in world history.

3. Rand filibustered the NDAA because of our government's secret kill list and Holder's refusal to comment on whether drones could be used in the U.S. to kill American citizens.

4. Rand wants to end the drug war, which has turned America into a prison state of mass incarceration and gutted the 4th Amendment to the point it has become meaningless.

Are you one of those "conservatives" who talk small government and freedom but support more wars, more government spying, secret kill lists and more government and police control over what you can and can't put in your body?

If we had a Congress full of Rand Paul's we wouldn't be $20 trillion in debt, bogged down in Middle Eastern conflicts, have prisons full of non-violent drug offenders and have our government collecting the metadata of almost every electronic communication of every American without a warrant. He isn't the problem, the establishment Republicans and Democrats are.

Rand Paul isnt a negative force he is about the only one that could really straighten this shite out.

What makes Rand's voice and vote worth more than the other 51 GOP senators? Even Mike Lee and Ted Cruz? He is not completely infallible and has been very wrong in his approach before.

Rand has always annoyed me with his puritan, cannonball shot to the head approach on every issue instead of chipping away it and still chipping away like democrats have made an art form of.

The change he wants is not going to happen overnight and it's high time he accept that.

I voted Rand in the GOP primaries long after he dropped out of the race and I was only one of ten people in my parish to vote for him and I was proud of that vote. He's a great man.

And I completely acknowledge that he's human and completely prone to make errors in judgement just like the rest of us and his puritan approach on issues that don't warrant it is just that.

It's beyond weird how conservatives act like he's beyond reproach on every issue.

Rand is right but until you get a Congress filled with people like Rand you are going to have to make some compromises.

Politicians typically go on major political shows.

Yeah. Politicians like attention; humans like attention.

He proposes major legislation all the time. He votes for and against major legislation all the time. If people don't want to vote on one of his bills say addressing the criminal justice system, then that's on them.

Well let us know when we actually have something much better than the status quo.

like Rand and I like his ideas the only problem is there aren't enough people in congress that will support his type of bil

5 years ago I didn't think illegal immigrants would be the most popular people in the country. Also didn't see coming was the transgender bathrooms and so many other crazy liberal shite. Ran Paul great ideas might not be to far away from getting passed.

That isn't significantly different than the reason you lie your arse off on this issue.

So you don't believe in local government?? Because this bill let's states decide what to do with the money

I guess you like the individual mandate? Because this bill eliminates it

I suppose you adore the mass requirements of health insurance such as 64 year old post menapausal women paying for OB coverage. Because this bill significantly reduces those.

Yeah not better than the status quo

Just another lemming following the controlled opposition

It amazes me that the GOP wants to rebrand that shite as their own creation. On second thought...no it doesn't. They have proven their stupidity repeatedly.

When you realize that there aren't "two sides" to our gov't, everything becomes much more clear.
