Why is it so hard for some of you to admit that anyone connected to trump can do or has done wrong.
But that isn't your point, your point is he did it knowingly.

So he found out she was illegal, fired her and that's a problem?
The hypocrisy is rich here. The Dems should be ready to canonize this guy as a saint. What's the problem?

How should he have known ? I've already said how and why. He should have employed her legally. He did not. And that is why he is paying back taxes now. This isn't you or me were talking about. this is someone who is now the department of labor picK. I

He knowingly paid her under the table. Yes. That is why he is paying back taxes. I cannot make this any more clear.

People don't have to pay back taxes when they go through an agency unless the employer was not on the up and up .

This is your quote. Apparently you have never used a temp service to hire anyone. It is the agency's responsibility to make sure their employees are legal.

So

Well if you are OK with a department of labor pick or someone who is going to be the department of labor pick paying someone under the table and not reporting taxes (Because that is what happened- remember he is paying back taxes) and because of that possibly, emphasis possibly, missing that she was an undocumented worker, then that is your opinion. And I don't think I will change that opinion . In my opinion a department of labor pick should have been on the up and up all around on this. Especially a department of labor pick under Trump who is steadfastly against undocumented workers . He is in a pickle and has no one to blame but himself.

Either way, I am sure Spicer or Kellyanne will clear all this up tomorrow
Later

Only according to you. I believe he used a service. Paid the service company whatever the charge was. After a few years it's brought to his attention that the agency isn't on the up and up, tells her he can't use her anymore until she gains legal status. And to clear everything up even more, goes to the IRS and tells them the situation and doesn't want a tax burden over his head. Paid his taxes. Sounds like a stand up guy to me. And you can't prove that it didn't actually happen this way.

Employed her legally? I pay my cousins wife cash to clean my house every two weeks. Am I breaking the law?

Apparently, you know nothing about hiring practices or temp agencies.

Shows you how fricked up our tax system is huh? A guy has to pay taxes to have someone who work for him that will have to pay taxes because she works for him.

How mixed up is that? My opinion, if it's a private hire by an individual who doesn't reap a monetary reward from the services rendered of the person he hired, there shouldn't even be a tax.
