And today in ring #3 of the circus :
quote:

"My wife and I employed a housekeeper for a few years, during which I was unaware that she was not legally permitted to work in the US," Puzder said in a statement. "When I learned of her status, we immediately ended her employment and offered her assistance in getting legal status."

quote:

(CNN)Andrew Puzder, President Donald Trump's pick to lead the Labor Department, employed an undocumented immigrant for years, the business magnate said in a statement Monday. It's an admission that in the past has sunk other Cabinet secretary nominees. Puzder's nomination has been stalled in Congress after a series of delayed hearings from the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. Puzder, the head of the parent company that owns fast food companies Hardee's and Carl's Jr., said he and his wife have already paid back taxes on the employee.

Oh he admitted to having to pay back taxes to the IRS to. So we know if this was about.
quote:

t. He said he paid back taxes for employing the maid to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service and to California.

Those damn childish Democrats holding things up.

What is your melt about? Is it because they didn't hire a black maid?

Sounds like he was honest and then did the right thing by helping her get legal status.

Sounds like he's a good man by abiding by the law once he knew there was an issue. Completely different response than the Democrat story that came out today.

If it's such a deal breaker for a politician to employ an illegal alien, why should it not be just as egregious for anyone, private, public or corporate to employ them?????
