It's not even that he says stupid stuff. He says things that demonstrate he has no clue about the subject of the question. The whole back and forth on the healthcare bill was appalling. I'm not sure he had any clue what was actually in the bill currently being pushed by his administration.

I'm sure of it based on one of the exchanges he had with the congressmen he was trying to convince to support it.
He really doesn't take the time to learn the details of any subject he is talking about and it shows.

I think it's justifiable to "melt" about our President displaying complete ignorance on a major piece of legislation he is pushing for passage.
But that's just me.

He's a tard at times, so I would never bother spinning but he's still not Hillary and the cheating arse democrats lost so 
I'm not one that thinks either party needs more than 8 years in charge. Because once it even gets close to that much time the party in charge starts behaving obnoxiously and losing it's political mind. This theory was proven yet again in the 2016 election.
I do hope eventually the democrats learn from their sins and actually come up with some decent candidates.
