I have no problem with the court ruling on constitutionality, or determining some procedural issue or legal issue was at stake.
But anyone should be terrified if federal judges are making any determination of national security. That is not their role. As long as it meets constitutional and statutory muster, Trump should not have to provide proof to any judge about security threats.

It isn't up to them to decide what is or is not a legitimate threat to national Security. This decision should have been rooted in whether or not the President has the constitutional power to issue this executive order. That's it.
A federal court shouldn't act as policy makers due to ideological disagreements. That's not their role. Does the President (any President) have this power awarded to him? Any other emotionally based argument is totally irrelevant.

That is not the courts job. They can disagree with the President decision but there is absolutely no question he is acting in his authority.
He should go to the Supreme Court immediately. He will win 5-3. Even Breyer would recognize the Presidents authority in this area.

Again, it isn't the role of a Federal Court to decide which national security threats should count as legitimate.
Their role here was to decide if the President has the constitutional authority to issue this type of executive order.
