there are over 200 million tax payers in the US (actually closer to 240 million) but lets say its only 200 million. That's a total of 50$ a year.

hence the reason I dropped 40 million off the number.

According to the Tax Policy Center, just about all Americans pay some kind of tax. There were 242 million adults in America in 2013, so it is fair to estimate the number of taxpayers is similar. However, not all Americans pay the same

We just don't agree on the tariffs.

Agree here. It should be dismantled completely.

You don't spend much time here. Anyone that doesn't drop to their knees and open up at the mention of Trump's name is a Democrat.

I don't mind and here is why:

1) Tariffs - Has to be done. mexico taxes and tariffs US products. This is all negotiating to get a wall and get true free trade. Everyone should support that and understand you don't get it just by asking Mexico to top the taxes and tariffs.

2) Military spending - We'll see how this pans out. I'm ok with more military spending if we aren't in wars, we redo how DoD contractor contracts are written and overall government spending declines.

3) Trump is doing everything he can to end AFA. Blame the GOP who found a way to put an AFA repeal bill in front of Obama 42 times but now says they can't get one in front of Trump because they know he won't veto it.

I didn't vote for trump because he is conservative. I knew that he would spend.

A conservative who takes free shite away is never going to win a presidential election in this country.

I voted for him to kill the media and political correctness. I never imagined the added benefit of pushing the democrats into batshit status and fracturing their party between two factions of equally detestable loons.

<----- happy trump voter

The bottom line: out of 171.3 million tax units this year, 77.5 million—or 45.3 percent—won't pay income tax.Oct 6, 2015

From Forbes

So about 1/3 of the country is paying all the taxes. Which by your math means they are paying 150 ea for the EPA budget per year.

And we have how many govt agencies with 10bb per year budgets.

Like I stated, it rolls off the tongue pretty easy when it is someone else's money.

please start a thread and explain this in great detail.

I see the wall as related to making it more difficult for our illegal immigrants to get back home to see grandma at Christmas. (I joke).

What has the wall to do with the Chinese manipulation of their currency?

That is BS. We have literally tens of thousands of tariffs in place now.

Here are some examples

Uhhh what are those troops they are thinking about sending to Syria going to be doing Mr. McNamara?
