So Trump is letting in 15K workers from Mexico who would pay taxes unlike the illegal Mexicans ? Sounds like Mexico is going to do crappy work in the USA and pay to build the wall . Sounds like a win .

Fact A: Employers have 15,000 jobs available
Fact B: the country has millions of unemployed
Fact C: the employers will pay minimum wages to non-US workers
Fact D: social welfare benefits for US citizens > minimum wage.
Do you not see a problem here? By bringing in non-citizens, the wage crisis perpetuates itself as the incentive for the employer to raise wages to a level that gets people in the US back to work is non-existent.
Remove the artificial low wage by eliminating the H-2B workers and force the employers to pay a fair wage that is set by the local market for employees. If people want to work for a low wage, that's on them. If they don't, and the employer can't hire enough people at a low wage the employer will have to raise the wage.
It's like when an airline overbooks and nobody wants to give up a seat. If the airline keeps upping the ante, eventually it meets the demand of the market. Sure are a lot of hard core, globalist Republicans in here masquerading as Trump nationalists.

I have no problem with this. I like the comers and goers, not the comers and stayers.
