Trump needs to hire the best people for the job reguardless of race, gender or sexual orientation. Isnt that what we want for this country? To be judged by our merits and not our prejudices.

Wrong. He needs to hire the most qualified person for the job, period. We are in the shite we're in now because positions were filled to placate a particular group instead of who was most qualified.

Hell no. That's why all other republicans are failures, because they take political advice from their enemies and encourage the left's tantrums by folding like paper to them. Ignore the left's finger wagging and they are powerless. They are forced to wallow in misery and isolation or grow up and join the rest of normal society. He does need to hire the best people for the job. I am skeptical about this comment because in practice it is usually never accomplished.
For high level political positions, I am sure the best people will be chosen. However, as for most areas in life, how many people are chosen based on association, like an in-law who happens to be related to an executive or simply a friend, classmate, etc.
The best person would be someone who is best qualified outside of your own personal prejudices as well as race and sex orientation.
