I never said they weren't good at spying. They built their country on espionage and I have great respect for their capabilities.
What I said is that they are not a major intelligence partner like the five eye nations are. Of course there is information shared with them, and nobody would ever consider not sharing information with them. That relationship is nowhere near what it is with other US partner nations. Not. Even. Close.
They have also shared intentionally incorrect information with us in well documented instances. So there is the history and tendency for them to rig the information in order to influence US operations.

I was basing mine on having been there rather recently in a military capacity.

The US can use anyone's territory for a staging area, with or without their consent. In the case of Israel, there are no dedicated US military bases or airfields being used to conduct operations in the theater. Those ALL belong to Arab and Turkish states, who have been surprisingly generous ($$$$$ talks) with allowing US operations in the region. The Israelis have accepted BIllions of dollars in airfield and base construction, justified undoubtedly with the reasoning that if we need to, the US can use them. all of those bases are occupied by Israeli forces, and the US does not use them to conduct operations.
So like I said, we have no theater operations staging capability there, and like you said, it would be RETARDED to do so anyway.

It seems like you want to pass judgement on my perspective, but you just can't pull the trigger. What is stopping you.
Obviously you think the benefit to the United States' alliance with the Israeli government is worth the money and resources, so why don't YOU justify it. You see, this is a major problem for America, we don't justify our government doing things before doing them. We do them and then say "why the hell not?". The burden of proving the benefit should always be on those who wish to spend other people's money on the purported benefit.

So at the end of the day today, the Trumpkin middle class has learned that they will be prevented from smoking dope, dispossessed of their pick-up trucks if they choose to partake and forced to defend a Jerusalem US embassy from Palestinian rocket attacks and suicide bombers. What interesting developments will tomorrow bring?

Come to see your side of the intelligence issue? No I haven't. You claimed they weren't a major partner. They are. I just said not FVEY-level. Any more detail than that and we start getting a bit close to info that probably shouldn't be discussed in an open forum.
I don't have to provide resources. I was there, on the ground, in a military capacity. Recently. Without going in to too much detail, yes joint exercises were a part of it.
