Interesting choice. No real foreign policy experience that I am aware of but he is obviously a baller CEO.

He's the CEO of a multinational corporation. What do you mean no foreign policy?

From the Left: now we know why Ford didn't take that bailout money.

Probably would be a better fit somewhere else in the Cabinet, but a good guy to have on staff.

It is very interesting that he's interviewing/appointing so many business heads and CEO's.

It's a bold strategy.

i like it. good tagline for trump's presidency.

'ahead of schedule, under budget' also means his campaign promises. he may be done with 8 years worth of agenda by jan 20 :MAGA:

Which doesn't make him qualified in the least.

Outside of hiring a career diplomat, it's hard to find the right qualifications for SecState. But someone who has done business in many countries and has had to negotiate deals with foreign actors is just a notch below career diplomat.

It's like they don't understand that CEOs have an average IQ of 130 and are likely to excel at whatever endeavor the choose, especially one as close to a Chief Exec

A lot of CEO's are intelligent but don't know what real work is like. This guy was a top notch engineer before taking on executive roles and excelling there. Would be a kick arse Secretary of Defense.

ETA: Maybe they are trying to give him foreign policy credentials in case Trump only works one term.
