What did he think an FBI investigation was comprised of?

A) Why was an investigation opened? That's a serious question. What evidence led anyone to believe an investigation was needed

B) If that is the case, why didn't someone just tweet back to Trump "of course you were under surveillance, as part of a criminal investigation?

and finally

C) Any surveillance done as part of an FBI investigation would have been done by the FBI, James "the incompetent" Comey has already stated that he was not aware of any surveillance on Trump or his people, now even James Comey isn't so incompetent that he wouldn't be aware of the FBI running surveillance on Trump and or his people.

But it is nuts that POTUS tweets out "OMG guess what I heard on Fox" when he has all the investigative powers of the United States at his disposal, in large part.

As I have said several times: either Trump is a fool, or he takes his supporters for fools.

Are you somehow equating this with Obama wiretapping Trump Tower?

This is 100% where Trump is going. Trump claimed that Obama ordered surveillance on him, got called out by the FBI Director, and is now going to claim that the FBI investigation proves his initial ridiculous claim.

Trump supporters will eat it up though. At this point rationality isn't common on the Trunp train.

He publicly asked Russian agents to commit a crime.

One of Trump's chief business associates for decades has been both an FBI informant and heavily involved in the Russian mob.

Manafort, Page, Flynn all had extremely sketchy and publicly known Russian ties.

etc.

Can't it be both? The latter is proven on here hourly.

There is a third option you seem to be missing - fool.

How is that spin? He is currently under FBI investigation. What do you expect? His NSA is asking for immunity. They've thrown Manafort under the bus. Are you somehow equating this with Obama wiretapping Trump Tower?

You're in for a rough week of cognitive dissonance.

Dude, when he suggested the Russians help with the email - hillary's server had already been bleach bitted (or maybe wiped with a cloth) and was gone forever. There was nothing to hack, and no crime to commit because there was no server to hack. But, her illegal server had been so unprotected that every country with an intelligence branch should have had all of her email - Briton, France, Israel, China, Japan, Korea (North and South), AND Russia. It seems that the only governments that did not have the contents of her server were Ghana and the US.

Fake News.

The President is a far, far less credible source than virtually anyone else.

On the level of Alex Jones.

He's doing it so he can personally stay out of it. Just imagine if he were releasing info. The media would go ballistic with charges of him "interfering in the investigation" and "being careless with classified information" etc. etc.

And you're in for another long week of running around with the dartboard to try and make Trump's dart land somewhere on it.
